When asked, “Where are you from?” I often pause—not because I don’t know the answer, but because no single place fully encapsulates who I am. My natural response is “Planet Earth,” as it conveys both the simplicity and complexity of my journey without delving into the layers of my upbringing..

Having lived across various continents, including Africa and Europe, I consider myself a product of diverse environments and experiences. Each place has left an indelible mark, shaping my worldview and enhancing my appreciation for different cultures. But Africa has always been at the core of my identity—its essence woven into my values and beliefs long before I moved to the UK to complete my education.

In 2009, while working in the City of London, I was assigned a project to write a case study on emergency power provision for Burkina Faso. That marked the first time I connected with Africa professionally. As I delved into research on the region’s electrification and broader infrastructure, I was captivated by the potential and progress I discovered. The vision of a prosperous and self-sufficient Africa began to take shape in my mind.

Despite the progress, I noticed there was very little economic analysis and corporate news coverage coming out of the continent. Very few publications were paying attention to the successes and investment opportunities. It was this realisation that sparked my calling and inspired me to focus my career on amplifying Africa’s story to the world.

A Message from The Founder

LCH Consultancy was launched in 2012 to bridge the global knowledge gap by representing Africa and the corporations and people vested in its empowerment and equitable development.

Since then, we’ve learnt so much, and we’ve grown. But there is much to do and much more to learn. International peers are beginning to follow us, and many are joining the journey – one where our success is wedded to our clients’.
